H.A.S Administration and Control Systems The most powerful and common method of controlling your home is the new Nokia N800 tablet PC. The Nokia N800 runs Linux O/S, comes with a touchscreen and Opera 9 browser . It provides a full control of all features through easy-to-use interface. Using its on-screen keyboard you can configure and setup your system in minutes.
Another common method of controlling your home is a touchscreen located in key location. A touchscreen is a computer monitor that you use your finger instead of a mouse to control the computer. A touchscreen provides full control in running the system but lacks in system's configurations since a keyboard is needed .
There is also a compact version of our H.A.S specially design for mobile phones. This compact version has minimal functionality and it can be use for very basic tasks like alarm and devices control. You can also control your home from Internet through any web browser or from your PC, or PDA. In the current version there are remote clients (stand alone clients) for basic functionality compatible with Windows and Linux O/S. If no Internet available you can control basic system's functions using a modem. This requires an extra software installed on your openHAS system.
The recommended solution is a Nokia N800 for system control (alarm, cameras, home automation) and a MS Remote control for the Media Center. |
